Here is another lino block print with watercolour and ink. I have recently found a couple frames in my packed up boxes, so I want to make another little collage piece like the one from my previous post.I posted a photo of it below. These little drawings and such tend to keep me going with creating new pieces.
Not that I am making art for money, believe me I don't make much from my work. Even Earl Beadlehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02679480252678844399noreply@blogger.com15tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9446303.post-89192287004353721062011-04-01T14:23:00.000-04:002011-04-01T14:23:41.403-04:00little sparrow
A nice little song to go along with these...

These are some of the newest illustrations I have competed. I've used a mix of ink and watercolour.
I have several other goodies to post, new lino prints, drawings and sketches. There are hopes of a t-shirt series for the above images, mostly likely I will only go with one image but change up the colour with the sizes of t-shirt. Maybe even a bike bag design with the Earl Beadlehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02679480252678844399noreply@blogger.com9tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9446303.post-10612145781401323602011-03-09T13:32:00.000-05:002011-03-09T13:32:37.865-05:00drawings and cutouts
I'm still working on a few things, drawings, cutouts and on-going brainstorming. Soon it will be time to move again, taking supplies to another studio and place to live. Until then there are things and stuff around the apartment that need to be prepared for this summers installations. Most of the work will happen at the new place tho. Oh that place is called the Wolfden Bunkhouse, I've Earl Beadlehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02679480252678844399noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9446303.post-48524603142138678432011-03-03T15:29:00.000-05:002011-03-03T15:29:44.829-05:00a few things on the go
There are a few things on the go, new illustrations, t-shirt design, lots of brainstorming and drawing for the new installations this year and a NEW WEBSITE. I've used a free web hosting called Weebly, as much as I would like a fancy paid site I think using this free tool is actually really nice. Check it out and give me some feedback. www.earlbeadle.weebly.com.

There are so many close up photos that I have taken over the years of my work. Work in progress and finished pieces, so I thought why not post a hand full of them. Originally I was going to post over twenty close ups, but how ridiculous would that be. At least this way you can see some of the detail that are in a few of the pieces. Maybe I will make a few posts of some other fun shots ofEarl Beadlehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02679480252678844399noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9446303.post-18929304575508826792011-02-09T13:10:00.000-05:002011-02-09T13:10:53.943-05:00mon destin m'attend

The hairly log sketch is my favourite little doodle at the moment, why I have no idea. I also decided to re-work a painting that I thought was finished last year, the only thing I had changed was that I added some wax. There are some other things and stuff that I am sketching out and brainstorming with. Most likely there will not be a lot of new work till the spring and summer since I am Earl Beadlehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02679480252678844399noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9446303.post-63986625332851867252011-01-25T10:07:00.000-05:002011-01-25T10:07:59.396-05:00from within

Sketching these into my web of continual ideas. This shelter could also be called a wigwam.
Believe it or not I am inspired by these shelters, especially when they are hidden away in a forest that very few know about. I will post a few of my sketch book entrys when they are ready.Earl Beadlehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02679480252678844399noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9446303.post-79795734258888640062011-01-15T15:42:00.002-05:002011-01-15T15:49:46.588-05:00a quick lookA few quick shots of the new wall sculptures, the lighting was not the best but it gives you an idea of what they are like. One more to finish and then I am going to move on to the next project. This would be my first part of the new work for this year, lots more to experiment with, ideas to brainstorm and objects to find. Off to a fair start though.Earl Beadlehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02679480252678844399noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9446303.post-87692116404804454162011-01-13T20:30:00.003-05:002011-01-13T20:42:59.860-05:00bird headsThat took a long time making the molds, pouring the plaster and finally dried out enough that I can continue the wall sculptures. The final plaster bird heads turned out nice, the beaks could of turned out a little better in my opinion, but I am probably just a little picky. I've actually finished one of the wall sculptures, wax and all and it is currently hanging in my studio. However, I am Earl Beadlehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02679480252678844399noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9446303.post-8531197107380427722011-01-11T15:34:00.002-05:002011-01-11T15:55:27.385-05:00another wall sculpture and hemlockYou might be wondering where the heck did I find the bluejay feathers, well that is it I found them. I am thinking a cat had a chance at the jay and the bird lost a few feathers. I kept the feathers until I had the right materials to use them, together I have a piece of found wood and I am in the middle of making a couple molds of a bird. My friend Vince let me use a bird head mold that he made aEarl Beadlehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02679480252678844399noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9446303.post-76421483333537198732011-01-03T19:07:00.003-05:002011-01-03T19:20:34.215-05:00fish bonesHere is my first post of the new year, I really do need to get back into the routine of posting my work. I've had these objects for a little while now, but have not had the chance to use them yet. So here you go, another rabbit sculpture using found wood, fish bone, fish lure, buttons and maybe a hawk feather. This one will be a little more challenging to piece together, however I am sure Earl Beadlehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02679480252678844399noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9446303.post-34272443733636758052010-12-02T18:13:00.005-05:002010-12-02T18:34:08.414-05:00a place of peaceThe Wolfden in Dwight, about 10kms from Algonquin Park is my place of peace in Ontario. I was there helping my friend Ben about a week ago and he took me out to find some Hemlock. Which I believe is one of Canada's oldest living trees. Well the Hemlock tree has this inner bark that is deep red or burgandy and if you search particular spots of a forest you will most likely find a blown down tree.
