Hello friends who visit my art blog. I did not expect that I would not be making so little art when I had moved to the Wolf Den, but I have worked on so many other amazing projects. Most of all i've learned a lot about nature, forest craft and have taken the time to enjoy living within the Algonquin Highland area. Big bonus, Algonquin Park is just down the road, so my art projects have been place aside for a short while.
Saying all that I have taught myself how to make dream catchers and I think I will continue this path a little bit. Combining my art to a native craft is very special for me. Enjoy

a long time ago
So, it has been such a long time since I posted something, never mind worked on new art. I did have a big move and started a new job at a place called the Wolf Den, www.wolfdenbunkhouse.com.
I renovated a new space, which is actually an old trailer that I think was built in the 70's. I built an amazing art table, but now I just have to start making things and stuff again. The Wolf Den is an amazing place to work, it is surrounded by forests, and just minutes from Algonquin Park. Inspiration is everywhere and since the Wolf Den is a hostel I have met so many interesting people, a great place to sketch people passing through on their travels.
My art addiction is long over do of a fix so soon enough I will be working on new pieces and start posting more. Stay tuned when you can.
see you.

my bike has gears
Here is another lino block print with watercolour and ink. I have recently found a couple frames in my packed up boxes, so I want to make another little collage piece like the one from my previous post.I posted a photo of it below. These little drawings and such tend to keep me going with creating new pieces.
Not that I am making art for money, believe me I don't make much from my work. Even though I receive the most amazing comments from people and I am very thankful, but so you know all my work is for sale. If you are interested please contact me at any time. earl_oz@hotmail.com.
Ok there friends, enjoy my art blog and see you soon.

little sparrow
A nice little song to go along with these...
Devendra Banhart Wake up, Little Sparrow Lyrics:
Wake up, wake up little sparrow
Don't make your home out in the snow
Don't make your home out in the snow
Little bird, oh dontcha know
Your friends flew south many months ago
Your friends flew south many months ago
You're just a babe, you cannot fly,
Your wings won't spread up against the sky
Your wings won't spread up against the sky
Wake up, wake up little sparrow
Don't make your home out in the snow
Don't make your home out in the snow
Don't make your home out in the snow

new illustrations - birdz
These are some of the newest illustrations I have competed. I've used a mix of ink and watercolour, the series of illustrations will be for sale and could be purchased through my Esty account. http://www.etsy.com/shop/earlie there are currently art items for purchase there now.
I have several other goodies to post, new lino prints, drawings and sketches. There are hopes of a t-shirt series for the above images, mostly likely I will only go with one image but change up the colour with the sizes of t-shirt. Maybe even a bike bag design with the screen printed birdz.
I'll keep ya posted.
